Indonesia's foreign minister was reluctant to give ransom to the Abu Sayyaf

Foreign Minister Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi, lift biacara about ransom the hostage taker 10 Indonesian citizens that the Abu Sayyaf group.

Retno explained that the ransom is something that violates the principle. The Abu Sayyaf hostage 10 Indonesians, they demanded a ransom to the Government of Indonesia of 50 million pesos, or about Rp15 billion. A ransom was used as a condition the release of 10 of the Indonesian citizen

Retno continued, the Government of Indonesia continues to coordinate with the Government of the Philippines regarding liberation 10 Indonesians. Moreover, the coordination of related parties is also being conducted.
